On Saturday we went on a hike to Los Cahorros. It was a lot more difficult of a trail than I was expecting, but it was more than worth it. The view of the mountains was amazing. I loved being able to see all of the caves in the sides of the mountains. My favorite part was cooling off in the freezing cold mountain water before hiking back down. There were two waterfalls in the area we went swimming. One was man-made by a dam and the other was natural. They were gorgeous to look at but even more fun to stand under. It was so cold I was in shock but it was worth being able to say I’ve stood under a natural waterfall in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It was a wonderful and relaxing way to end the week.
